The Ford Modeling Agency, also known as Ford Models, was established in1946 by Eileen Ford and Jerry Ford as it created a new kind of global industry based on beauty. The agency was the first to ever advance their models money owed by jobs that had been completed but not yet paid. It was Eileen Ford who created the family tradition of allowing teenage models who lived far from New York City to stay in her home.
