Missoni is an Italian fashion house founded by Ottavio Missoni and Rosita Missoni in 1953. The brand includes the central Missoni line, as well as M Missoni, a lower tier collection introduced in 1998. The brand's current ambassador is Margherita Missoni, granddaughter of the founders. Missoni is known for its signature knitwear in a multitude of patterns such as stripes, geometrics, and abstract florals, in a kaleidoscope of colors. They use many different fabrics such as wool, cotton, linen, rayon and silk as the Missoni pattern has become an icon in its own right.
