Details is an men's magazine purchased by Conde Nast Publications in 1988. The publication was re-launched under the new ownership in 2000. Nine years after the re-launch, Details has received recognition throughout media circles (including several Society of Publication Design awards). The magazine is positioned at the brink of culture and style and relates to men who are confident, inquisitive, educated, and well informed about the future. Details is a magazine which focuses on fashion and lifestyle, yet also features reports on hot social and political views. Frequent contributors to the publication include Augusten Burroughs and Michael Chabon.
