Pearce LLP was founded in 2003 by Elizabeth (Betsy) Q. Pearce as a boutique law firm specializing in the international fashion and luxury goods industries. Pearce LLP has had a hand in some of the most notable transactions of the past decade in the fashion industry, including representing Alexander McQueen during the acquisition of his company by the Gucci Group. The firm has become known for representing top designers turned creative directors, including Phoebe Philo and later Hannah Macgibbon at Chloe, Tomas Maier at Bottega Veneta and Kris Van Assche at Christian Dior. Project-based and ongoing consulting and strategic services are provided separately though the the firm's sister company, Pearce Strategic.
