Sonia Rykiel is a fashion designer and founder of the line Sonia Rykiel. Rykiel became the first designer to place the seams on the outside of the garment and print words on her clothing. Her creations made the cover of Elle and bought her fame. She proved that knitwear can follow any trend. Since the launch of her label in 1968, the line has expanded into a brand that compasses lingerie, accessories, children’s clothing, menswear, and beauty. Just recently, Sonia Rykiel collaborated on a collection with H&M.
