Introduction Leigh Lezark was born in Toms River, New Jersey on July 26, 1984. Although she was raised in New Jersey, Lezark moved to New York and began college after two weeks. Lezark is one-third of a New York City-based DJ group, The Misshapes. Both as a group and individually, they have received much attention for their style, music, art and photography. Career Highlights After the creation of The Misshapes, Lezark and the group became an instant inspiration not only for their music, but for their own style of edginess. The band has worked as supporting DJ’s for some of the music industry’s biggest names like [[Courtney Love]], [[The Killers]], [[Debbie Harry]], and Bloc Party. Lezark and her two fellow DJ-mates, Geordon and Greg K., have also produced runway music for some of fashion’s well-known designers including [[Chanel]], [[Calvin Klein]], [[L.A.M.B.]], [[Cynthia Rowley]], and [[Tory Burch]]. Within entertainment, music collides with endless opportunities and so it was the least surprising when Lezark’s next calling happened to be fashion. Aside from getting press for her music in [[Vogue]], [[V]], [[Nylon]] and [[Vanity Fair]], she also appeared in campaigns for the [[GAP]], [[Roberto Cavalli]] for [[H&M]], and [[Hogan]].
