Jeanine Lobell

Jeanine Lobell was born in Sweden and raised throughout Europe. She began her career as a makeup artist for music videos, but her great success came when she made the move into the fashion industry; Lobell quickly found herself doing makeup for magazine covers including Elle UK, Elle French, and Vogue Espana. In 1994, Lobell decided to create her own makeup brand and small boutique consisting of easy-to-use high quality products in attractive packaging. She called the brand Stila Cosmetics. She quickly became involved in every step of the line, including working with the chemist to create makeup to formulate textures. Stila is now sold worldwide in high-end retail outlets such as Sephora, and Macy's, and continues to enjoy a cult following among celebrities.
