The handsome Irishman Jamie Dornan has captured the hearts of many on the big screen and in print. Born in Belfast, Ireland on May 1, 1982, this sexy boy is also known for dating high-profile celebrities such as Keira Knightley, Sienna Miller, and Lindsay Lohan. Dornan started off his creative career in music; he formed the band, Sons of Jim, in 1999 and continues to perform with them. In 2001, he auditioned for the Northern Ireland television series, Model Behavior. Nothing really came from it until 2003, when he modeled for Asprey with Keira Knightley, whom he dated for two years. After Dornan became the face of Calvin Klein in 2004, his modeling career skyrocketed. Other ad campaigns he modeled for include Dior Homme and H&M. Meanwhile, he posed for editorials in magazines like GQ and L’Uomo Vogue and has appeared on the covers of i-D and Crash. He got his break into acting by appearing in Sofia Coppola’s Marie Antoinette, as of course, Antoinette’s lover. Named the “male Kate Moss” by GQ and featured by The New York Times as the “Golden Torso”, it is clear that Dornan has successfully gone beyond just a reality t.v. contestant.
