Hedi Slimane’s talents spread across fashion, photography, curating, publishing and industrial design. Slimane is best known for his work as creative director at Dior Homme from 2000 to 2007. While at Dior Homme he received the CFDA Designer of the Year Award in 2002. Slimane has worked as a photographer for Vogue Paris, Vanity Fair, V, Purple and Dazed & Confused. Slimane has organized over a dozen art exhibitions, including “Sweet Bird of Youth”, which featured the work of Ryan McGinley, Dash Snow, Terence Koh, and others. Slimane has published nine incredible books of photography. He has also designed compelling architectural spaces in cities including Paris and Shanghai. Recently, he created an original furniture system for Comme des Garçons.
