Jamie Bochert is a model-turned-musician known for her high cheekbones and androgynous look. Born in 1983 in New Jersey, she started her modeling career in 2002 when she walked for Ann Demeulemeester’s fall collection. The same year, she landed the cover of i-D and continued to walk runways for top designers like Diane Von Furstenberg, Pucci, and Viktor & Rolf. By 2004, Bochert retired from the modeling industry. She had a change of heart four years later, however, and opened for Marc Jacobs in the spring show. Besides appearances during fashion week, she has also appeared in numerous magazines shot by famed photographers including Steven Meisel and Craig McDean. Moreover, she has modeled for editorials alongside her husband, actor Michael Pitt, in Contributor and Vogue Italia. In 2010, she became the face of both Marc Jacobs and Lanvin. Lately, she has been focusing more on her band, Francis Wolf, which also consists of her husband.
