Shortly thereafter, Michael signed with DNA Model Management and officially began her modeling career. She made her catwalk debut in early 2007 in New York, where she opened for brands 3.1 Phillip Lim and Alice Roi. Since then, she's walked for many notable fashion brands such as Marc Jacobs, DKNY, Fendi, Balenciaga and Burberry, to name a few. Michael also added an impressive list of editorial credits to her resume, including W, Teen Vogue, Vogue, Lula and Numero. Michael has also been the face of Sportmax and Coach. After overcoming an eating disorder in 2008, Michael has since become an advocate and role model for healthy lifestyles in the fashion industry.
