The exotic and angelic Italian-Brazilian model, Izabel Goulart, has been capturing the attention (and hearts) of many. Holding the coveted position of a Victoria’s Secret Angel since 2006, Goulart continues to sizzle down the runway with a perfect tan and barely-there attire. Born on October 23, 1984 in São Paulo, Brazil, Goulart started her modeling career in June 2004 when she walked exclusively for Iodice during fashion week in São Paulo. She made quite a first impression when her bikini top fell off. A year later, she received international recognition and signed a contract with Victoria’s Secret. Additionally, she appeared in both Vogue Paris and Vogue Italia and landed the cover of Marie Claire French. In 2007, she was named by People magazine as one of the 50 most beautiful people in the world. Goulart has been extremely successful in melding high and commercial fashion, proving that one does not need to choose one over the other. Besides Victoria’s Secret, she has modeled for Baby Phat, A/X Armani Exchange, and in 2011 became one of the faces of Dolce & Gabbana. Furthermore, she has walked the runway for brands like Balenciaga, Alexander Wang, and Oscar de la Renta.
