  Robert Boyd Holbrook, known as Boyd Holbrook was born on September 1st 1981 in Prestonburg, Kentucky. In 2001, Holbrook was discovered while working as a carpenter at a theater. After signing with Elite Models, he made his debut at the fall Cloak show in New York City. Since his debut, Holbrook has become a top male model. Boyd has worked with famed photographers including Peter Lindbergh, David Armstrong, and Steven Meisel. He has been featured in publications including AnOther, Numero, L’Uomo Vogue, i-D, V Man, and a noteworthy nude spread in Vogue Italia. To date Holbrook has walked for countless brands such as Gucci, Calvin Klein, Missoni, Burberry, and Fendi. In 2004, Holbrook was named the face of Dior Homme, and was photographed by notorious photographer duo, Inez van Lamsweerde and Vinoodh Matadin.
