In 2006, Chanel Iman received third place in Ford Models' Supermodel of the World contest, which resulted in her contract with the agency.  Later that year, Iman had her runway debut for the Fall/Winter collections with high-end brands like Custo Barcelona and DKNY.  Since then she has modeled for top designers such as Anna Sui,  Dsquared2, and Hermès. In May 2007, Iman was hailed by Vogue as one of world’s Top Ten Models.
