Model
Alexandra Tomlinson was born in Atlanta, Georgia on August 19, 1985. At 17, the 6 foot American model signed with one of fashion’s most prestigious modeling agencies, IMG Models. Tomlinson made her first runway debut in 2004 for Marni, Jil Sander, Giorgio Armani, Chanel, Christian Dior and Louis Vuitton. Instantly, she became every designer’s favorite runway girl including Bottega Veneta, Hussein Chalayan, Jill Stuart, John Galliano, Valentino, Derek Lam, Balenciaga and Givenchy, to name a few. Soon after her debut, Tomlinson booked an editorial for Harper’s Bazaar photographed by Peter Lindbergh. She has since worked with many established fashion photographers such as David Sims, Thierry le Goues, Mario Testino, Mikael Jansson, Mark Segal and Hana Soukupova. In April 2009, Terry Richardson photographed Tomlinson in an editorial for Vogue alongside fellow models Heidi Mount, Aline Weber, Daisy Lowe and Eliza Cummings. Tomlinson appeared in the Philosophy di Alberta Ferretti campaign in 2006 followed by D&G, Paul & Joe, St. John and Roberto Cavalli.
