Taylor Momsen was born on July 26, 1993 in St. Louis, Missouri. Growing up, she took dance classes at COCA in St. Louis and has been professionally acting since age 3, starring in national commercial for “Shake ‘N’ Bake.” In 2000, Momsen was cast for a role in “How the Grinch Stole Christmas” as the innocent and curious character, Cindy Lou. Two years later, she was cast in two more motion pictures, “Hansel and Gretel” and “Spy Kids 2: Island of Lost Dreams.” Although her biggest fame to date has been as the character Jenny Humphrey on the highly show, “Gossip Girl.” The show became a huge success overnight and is known as much for its costume design and fashion as it is for its plot. The cast, including Blake Lively, have received positive reviews for their wardrobe; the cast has been filmed dressed in top fashion designer labels from Chanel to Alexander Wang. have been featured in magazines such as Crash, Page Six, Teen Vogue and New York Magazine. Momsen’s rock band, The Pretty Reckless, had signed with Interscope Records and released their album in 2009; she not only wrote and sang all the songs but played the guitar on the entire album. In 2009, Momsen made it onto People Magazine’s 100 Most Beautiful List.
