Model | Photographer | Fashion Editor | Stylist
Enterprising fashion blogger, Tavi Gevinson, started her acclaimed blog, Style Rookie, in 2008, when she just 11 years old. Since then, she's laid claim to over 4 million readers, established herself as a permanent front-row fixture during New York Fashion Week, and appeared on the cover of Pop magazine. Gevinson also acted as muse for the Rodarte designers, Kate and Laura Mulleavy, when they created their ready to wear line for Target. Her star still rising, the phenom is next slated to write a monthly fashion column for Harper's Bazaar. Throughout her rise to fame, Gevinson, now 14, remains surprisingly low-key- so much so that her parents were unaware of her blogging career until she asked their permission to be interviewed by the New York Times. A self-described "dork who wears large hats," Gevinson's shrewd eye and unique persepctive continue to capture the attention of fashion experts worldwide.
