Mario Testino is known best for his flawless photographs of timeless figures throughout the latter half of the 20th century.In 1997, Testino’s reputation advanced after photographs of Princess Diana’s last photo session were published in Vanity Fair. Testino showcased his ability to expose a classic beauty as he photographed Princess Diana exactly as he saw her, exceptionally stunning in the purest form. His extreme talent for photography is so precise that it appears entirely impossible to attain yet repeatedly perfect. Testino is responsible for creating the art behind names like Kate Moss, Madonna, Cameron Diaz, Gisele Bündchen and Claudia Schiffer. Testino’s photographic results are almost as unreal as his list of accomplishments.Testino has published a grand total of seven books of his celebrated work. He has had several exhibitions in gallerias and museums all over the world, including the National Portrait Gallery in London. The exhibit, “Portraits” by Mario Testino featured in fashion capital, Milan as well as Amsterdam, Edinburgh, Tokyo and Mexico City remains the most successful exhibit toured in the National Portrait Gallery in London. Testino’s work has captured powerhouse brands such as Burberry, Calvin Klein, Dolce & Gabbana, Gucci, Hugo Boss, Michael Kors, Miu Miu, Salvatore Ferragamo and Versace. In 2009, Testino shot the Stefanel Ad Campaign Spring/Summer 2008, Stefanel Ad Campaign Fall/Winter 2008, and Stefanel Ad Campaign Spring/Summer 2009 featuring Gisele Bündchen, Versace Ad Campaign Fall/Winter 2008 featuring Patrick Dempsey, and Salvatore Ferragamo Ad Campaign Spring/Summer 2008, Salvatore Ferragamo Ad Campaign Fall/Winter 2008 with Claudia Schiffer. Personal LifeTestino is deeply involved with charitable efforts around the world. In 2008, he sold a single print of the late Princess Diana to raise money for a children’s clinic in a devastated area of El Salvador.CurrentlyMario Testino currently resides in London but regularly travels the globe for photography sessions. Testino just finished shooting Burberry Ad Campaign Fall/Winter 2009 collection featuring Harry Potter star, Emma Watson. Testino brought out Emma’s innocent beauty with a modern twist that parallels with the Burberry collection.
