Rebecca Minkoff

 Rebecca Minkoff is a fashion and accessories designer, as well as CFDA member. Born in San Diego, California, Minkoff moved to New York City after high school to pursue a career in fashion. In 2001, Rebecca launched an apparel line that included 5 pieces. Her first claim to fame was when Jay Leno wore an “I Love New York” shirt she had designed on “The Tonight Show with Jay Leno”. After the Jay Leno appearance, orders came flooding in for more of her “I Love New York” shirts. In 2005, Rebecca branched out and began to design handbags, focusing on day to night bags with a romantic theme. Rebecca Minkoff’s line continued to grow, and in 2009, she introduced her ready-wear collection.  Rebecca Minkoff has a high number of celebrity clientele including Ashley Greene, Lauren Conrad, and Keira Knightley.
