Missy Rayder is a model who was discovered in New York while visiting her sister, Frankie Rayder, who is also a successful model.In 1997, Missy made her runway debuts in Paris and Milan by walking the fall collections of Chloé, Costume National, and Trussardi. She caught the attention of Steven Meisel who requested that Rayder shave her head and eyebrows for a Marc Jacobs show in New York. The look was a hit, and Raydar's willingness to take that risk forged a professional relationship with Meisel that continues to this day. Since then, Rayder has been featured in several campaigns including Céline, Mulberry, and Marc by Marc Jacobs as well as various publications such as Mixte, Love, and Pop.
