Katsia Zingarevich might very well be known as the reluctant supermodel. Discovered at the age of 15 while doing her homework in a Minsk cafe, Zingarevich was initially disinterested in pursuing a modeling career. However, her mother encouraged her to explore it and eventually Zingarevich agreed to sign with Select in London. In 2006, she won Ford's Supermodel of the Year contest, a win that landed her in the editorials of major fashion magazines, and on the runways of the industry's most prestigious designers. After rising quickly in the industry, Zingarevich left it all behind to move to Paris in order to pursue a degree in journalism. The industry however, would have none of it and in a fortuitous move, her old agent sent her photos to Victoria's Secret- the company tracked down the blonde beauty and made her the face of Victoria Secret cosmetics.
