Sally Hershberger was born in Kansas and raised in California. At 18, she became an apprentice for Arthur Jones Salon, where she began to establish relationships with some of the biggest names in Hollywood. These relationships helped her to branch out onto her own, working on fashion shoots for legendary photographers, including Herb Ritts, Steven Meisel, and Helmut Newton. Since her early days, Hershberger has grown her brand into an empire; two salons, her own line of haircare products sold nationwide, a celebrity clientele roster that rivals Oribe and Fekkai, television appeances, magazine editorials, and enough PR to make Hershberger a celebrity in her own right.
