Richard Chai is an American fashion designer and member of the CFDA. Chai is the founder of the line, RICHARD CHAI. Before founding his own line, Chai designed for well known line, Marc by Marc Jacobs. In 2008 Richard was a top ten finalist in the CFDA/Vogue Fashion Fund, that same year he released a capsule line for Target’s Go International. Chai's celebrity clientele include Kate Hudson, Blake Lively, Sarah Jessica Parker, and Christina Ricci, and can be found at Barneys New York, Bergdorf Goodman, and Saks Fifth Avenue.
